After completing his undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Dr. Jason Luchtefeld attended Southern Illinois Dental School where he earned his dental degree. After graudation, Dr. Luchtefeld completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center In Denver. Education is important to Dr. Luchtefeld, which is why he has taken various continuing education courses, including classes on implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, sleep disorder treatment, and the use of lasers in dentistry.

Dr. Jason Luchtefeld’s specialty is early-intervention orthodontics, which is also referred to as myofunctional therapy. This specialty allows Dr. Luchtefeld to offer effective, comfortable, orthodontic treatments in a shorter amount of time than other dentists might be able to offer.

Dr. Luchtefeld loves his private practice, where he focuses on developing valuable relationships with patients and improving one smile at a time. Dr. Luchtefeld is a fellow of both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Academy of General Dentistry, in addition to being a valued member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, and the American Endodontic Society. 

Community outreach is important to Dr. Luchtefeld, which is why he volunteers as a cavity crusader to help other people. When he isn’t in the office helping patients or commenting as an expert on television, Dr. Luchtefeld loves to run, cycle, and read.
